The organisation emerged from early field innovation in post-disaster WASH solutions in the Philippines after Typhoon Frank, some years before playing a critical role in the post disaster recovery of Typhoon Haiyan.
Built in challenging environments, it continues to focus on creating tangible, field-ready tools that support stakeholders in real-world conditions, particularly in high-risk inland flooding coastal areas globally, from Peru to the Marshall Islands.
ReefScan's aim: To unify ocean values based on biological and social science and where community resilience through shared digital infrastructure and co-designed innovation plays the key role in stewardship of our natural resources.
